Research appears to show that the rhinovirus kicks coronavirus ass. If you have a cold it kills the covid virus and if you catch a cold shortly after covid the cold kills the covid.

So instead of keeping us locked and everything shut down up till the vaccine gives herd immunity should we be dosing people with rhinovirus if they want to do things? For large crowds like sports or gigs we could do antigen testing at the entrance and if you pass get a dose of rhinovirus. Similar for travel if you want to travel get an antigen test at the port and a dose of rhinovirus. It could even be an option for when you get your test to take a dose of rhinovirus.

I know I'd take a few weeks of sniffles, aches and pains if it allowed to the country to open up so that people can see their friends/relatives and everyone goes back to work.

Does that mean that, since only one thing kills the common cold, that flat 7Up could be our saviour?
