I got a lamb bucket from agridirect.ie - kerbl brand
Some lambs are taking to it and some are not. It looks as if the milk flow is very slow through the teat - is this part of the design to make sure that they dont drink too much in one go? There is a round metal part to each teat which i think regulates the milk flow and also stops the lamb from pulling the teat out of the bucket.
I am thinking that if they are hungry enough that they will go for it eventually. Some of the ones that are drinking for it will go at it strong for a while and then give up quickly.
If i were to make the holes slightly bigger would it make any difference?

A picture of your set up would be better to see what’s wrong. The metal part just acts as a weight to keep tubing at the bottom of the bucket

You need to make the holes bigger. Lambs should be guzzling the milk back. Cut a cross into the top of the teat.
