Hello! I searched on several sites for information about the price of a colonoscopy and I saw that they are around 1200-1400 €. Money I can't afford at the moment. Does anyone know where in Dublin I could do a colonoscopy (without health insurance) that would cost less?

Not exactly what you asked but I just checked up on the cost of one I had last Sept in Mallow and total cost to hospital was 996.84, I thought outside Dublin might be cheaper and easy enough take a train to Mallow but apparently it's not any cheaper really! That didn't include the consultant visit to arrange it.

Hospital and doc were both around 330 for the procedure cost, anaesthetist 250ish plus cost of tissue testing then, looking at it that way I'd say it will be hard enough get it cheaper unfortunately.

How urgent is it? You will get one privately via your GP and consultant referral to a hospital, but you obviously could be waiting a few months, though if your GP has reason to believe it is very urgent you could only be waiting a couple of weeks.
