I have a chunky Executive Pension Plan with a well-known and currently troubled firm.

It's execution-only (I think that's the right term), I've never availed of any advice from them and I very rarely trade, so I'm just paying the annual fees, which are relatively small in % terms but are an irritating drag on my returns.

I'm late forties in age but haven't contributed anything the last few years, and don't intend to for a while yet, so I mostly just want somewhere for the (mostly equity) portfolio to grow in between occasional stock market crashes. But it would be nice to have the option to trade as I occasionally do a bit of rebalancing as the whim takes me.

Anyone got any good current recommendations for where to move my fund to?

edit: to clarify, I'm a prop director so have complete control over the options, I think.
