Moving to Disability from JSA while with Turas Nua

Hi I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with moving from JSA to disability while involved with Turas Nua? Do I need to tell my advisor or should I just keep up with what they want me to do while I wait? I can't risk losing my payment but my diagnosis is significant enough to make me not be able to look for a job…
