Because I clearly have too much time on my hands in work...

100 Caps for Conan tonight, and less than the normal Byrne quotient for Leinster tonight.

I wonder where the whinging about Irish officials during Irish games will be during this match.

[edit] And someone already has a match thread up. Well, at least I got paid to do this...

Serious amount of procrastination going on, it is Friday after all.

Fairbrother is some unit, like a square with legs

2 penalties and a knock on. Josh Murphy had had better starts to a game.

Good run. Pity about the handling mistakes. Pitch looks to be worse than usual!!

Not sure how that's deemed as kicked under pressure but Ross got a bit lucky there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,741 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

They really need to pull the trigger and get the pitch replaced, they keep kicking it down the line but it's woeful.

Did the commentator say its a plastic pitch how the hell is it that bad?

Kicker was under pressure? Its flippin rugby!

Tongue in cheek I think because they've been saying they're putting in a plastic pitch for the last couple of years

Very smart from Kearney to let that bounce and go down.

Between the state of the pitch and the tiny in goal area, that's a ridiculous venue

Is there any excuse these days for a supposedly professional team to have such a crap pitch?

    Too many penalties this early

That was no penalty against Moloney.

Excellent offload in contact from Penney too.

Whitehouse should be wearing No 16 Dragons

Ah it definitely was Venjur he rolled back across the ruck into the 9 instead of trying to roll out, it always gets called

    Great clearance by davies

I don’t like complaining about the ref but Whitehouse has let Dragons off a few times already, including a clear forward pass followed by a clear knock on within a phase or two of eachother.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,741 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

There must be some wind, Dragons are getting serious miles out of their clearance kicks

I hate being one of those, but yeah!

I'm sorry but how on Earth has he given a penalty against Leinster for that?

The Dragons player was never in the air.

There was virtually no interference with the 9 and they didn't have fast ball either way.

It was for early hit. But seemed harsh thru my blue tinted glasses

And distance on the penalty kicks.

Thought Whitehouse said it was for a tackle in the air tbh. If not then fair enough.

I'm looking forward to seeing Harry Byrne tonight, a lot of talk about him lately.

Jesus, first meaningful stint of possession and monster carries everywhere, it's beautiful.

Harry Byrne is too good for this pitch.

Nice try, good to get off zero. Didn't think it would take 23 minutes

Was brought in as part of the new ruck interpretations last year, have to roll away to the clear side of the ruck, refs are told to blow it straight away if there's any sort of interference or slight slow down

I think he might have said it was still in the air or something similar. I definitely thought he'd said the same as u until I seen the replay

Josh Murphy is a big horse in contact. Very comfortable at Pro 14 level.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,205 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Soon pretty poor stuff from Leinster tbh. We've had Dragons 9 cheap points.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,054 ✭✭✭randomname2005

It was never slow enough to see exactly but did their 7 drop his knee to the ground before the jackle?

Yeah some very poor penalties conceded.

That was a cynical penalty he gave away.

    Yes he did

Nice try, ahead after the conversation. Time to cut out the mistakes
