Mines the 150bhp, like yourself I put in exactly what the display tells me is required it shows 10,000kms.

I just realised i now have the units in the dash set to miles. The highest i have seen is 8500 miles left in tank that’s 13,600 km. But i’m sure once driving style is taken into account i’d say it will end up lower than that so i probably would average the same as yourself.

Garage remapped two AdBlue pumps, I have an nct test within a few months. Basically had every part of the AdBlue system replaced in three years.

I'm now considering scrappage or maybe an EV. NEVER BUY A PEUGEOT!!!!!

Anyone have a similar experience, were you able to pass on emissions. The last nct one of the staff noted that the emissions were a little high!!!!!!

That was when the system was just about functioning.

I don't think adblue is necessarily causing high emissions. It's intended to help self cleaning the dpf and reduce some emissions but during the test not having an adblue system would not necessarily cause an immediate failure. General things to help reduce emissions are a long distance trip and have engine fully warmed up before arriving at NCT centre. The adblue can cause issues, but general long trips and warm engine for test help more.

How is it illegal to drive with the adblue system disabled?

I've had an ECU remap done here as the sensors for the adblue were full time acting the bollox. Got it disabled. SW trick to tell the sensor monitoring it going into the exhaust that it's actually going in, but the pump disabled. Granted this was in a tractor now and not a car. I'd assume the method be similar. Man from Tyrone did it for me.

“Irish road traffic legislation says it's an offence to drive a vehicle that has been modified to an extent that it no longer complies with the air pollutant emissions standards it was originally designed to meet.”

According to one article I read a while back - though unsure the exact act etc

Regarding a smoke test in relation to NCT. Are there any garages (Dublin area) that can provide accurate tests? I'm considering getting rid of my wheelchair taxi as scrap effectively. The engines has been practically been rebuilt. Considering a psa ev.
