Please help me find a portfolio tracker that answers this simple question

    Hello all,

    It's been a month since I started my crypto journey, and as expected I'm starting to loose track of what I own and how much I paid. I am literally at breaking point, having spent the whole day trying different portfolio managers including cointracker, cryptoview, cryptostats, altpocket, delta and others I've forgotten now.

    What I'm looking for:

    For each token I'd like to know when I purchased it, how many and for how much (if you can hear the patronising voice of someone who's loosing it I'm doing a good job). Lord forbid it should add today's date and tell me weather I'm up or down and by how much in cash terms.

    Desktop and mobile access is nice but the former is the priority. I already have blockfolio on my phone.

    That's it, that's all I want.

    Here's what I don't want : Tax planning, A UI / UX designed for accountants, graphs and analysis, the ability to control 5 separate accounts from a central trading view, the ability to socialise with other traders, the latest crypto news, pretty colours, daily newsletters and monthly analysis with feedback, the price of bitcoin today , 24h difference, 7 day difference...honestly, I could go on .

    Is there anything out there that would work? I'm not an excel programmer for all those suggesting I design a spreadsheet that works with my exchange.

    Finally, if you've gotten this far, thank you in advance for all your suggestions.

    Yeah coinstats does this. You'll have to dog through your transaction history to see what exactly you paid for them though

    I tried it for a little bit earlier but it was acting up with my api, didn't find it too intuitive to use. The elephant in the room off course is binance, why can't you just get a statement like at the bank ?


    My brother just directed me to coingecko, bloody brilliant, you out in your buy date, price, fees, no of shares and it gives you a breakdown by share as to what your P&L is for the day #simplicity

    For anyone else going through this register onto coingecko, brilliant resource in its own right to help you find market caps, compare prices from different exchanges for the gems not found on the main exchanges. Once you've registered setup portfolios. I use one for my holdings and another to keep an eye on projects I'm interested in.

    Blockofolio does all this. Any reason not to use it? Also handy to set up notifications for wild swings of x % that you can set withing a time frame. Any other notifications eg. their news section can be turned off.

    Transactions will have dates, price etc. and you can add your own additional notes too.

    I set up my own spreadsheet, I don't have it tracking the current values but I think this can be done (I've seen it done with currency anyhow).

    I like to know what I have, how much I paid, when I purchased or sold, and for how much.

    Yes it but only the "news" section within the app which displayed offensive content.

    Regardless, it doesn't matter if the app is hacked as the information about holdings, dates bought etc. are input manually so the information is statistically of low worth and doesn't pose any risk to your actual holdings be that on an exchange or wallet.

    For example, you can put in a 10th of your holdings and use it to track that way while not worrying about someone looking over your shoulder on the bus etc. while still knowing how your portfolio is doing.

    Blockfolio is fab but I was hoping for desktop/laptop versions, both a re mobile only unfortunately.
