Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How was Salah today ? Still returning...

17 from Barnes and Salah ...still a killer as a liverpool supporter

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,355 ✭✭✭Jim Gazebo

At least Barnes is first sub. If a pep roulette hits really hard then that's what bench is for...

15 from 2 there. Good start. Only for DCL injury I would have benched Maddison. Thanks Dommo

    Liverpool are an absolute mess

Yep and they have been for a while - they have a false sense of being a top 4 team due to so many teams around them having games in hand. If results go against them this GW they could end up 7th, maybe then they'll wake up. If they want to make top 4 they need to get back to basics - Karius was shipped off to Turkey for fewer mistakes than Allison, but chances of him being dropped are very small.

Everton next and if Everton are above them in the table - they will be going for blood. After that on paper they have some easier fixtures, but Klopp needs to sort out the defence. Henderson is not as effective in defence - they bought two CD's in January - why not play both or have Phillips in there. He's hardly buying them for next season, given VVD/Gomez should be back fit then???

All in all, Pool defence is a stay away zone. Salah is ticking along but that's about it- wouldn't be rushing out to buy if didn't own him

Just sitting here patiently waiting for the inevitable disappointment of Burnley losing their clean sheet

It'll be fine once Lowton gets his 2 goals.

Was wondering when he last scored a league goal...it in the 2012/13 season!

I’ve been rightly screwed by transferring in Calvert-Lewin and making him my captain for the DGW. This morning the game didn’t even have him down as a doubt. It only updated after the deadline. I looked it up and he was ruled out of the Fulham game in the press conference yesterday. Learned about Justin from Sky Sports. BS the game isn’t more up to date about player availability. Are we supposed to follow every press conference?

    Well that escalated quickly!

As a Liverpool fan who left Barnes as 2nd on the bench, this is horrible!

I put Madisson on the bench.

Thought I had struck lightening 2 weeks in a row after benching Stones last week, but also benching Sterling.

The weird thing is on 70 mins, I was highly thinking of transferring in Kabak.

We all missed a trick by not going for a Burnley attacker, they've turned in to Man City!

Fairly sure DCL was flagged as a doubt for a few days he was definitely flagged yesterday and this morning.

    Justin was flagged yesterday also.

    Maybe you’re colour blind.

In fairness, there is a wealth of information across the couple of FPL threads on boards where you can find out about player injuries, who to pick, recommendations, etc.

It's a great resource/community to get your team in the best position.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,715 ✭✭✭Cartman78

DCL was yellow flagged since the Cup game and went to amber yesterday afaik.

Ehm... Calvert Lewin was flagged before the deadline, though.

He was when I was making transfers last night (unless I am imagining things).

Anyway it was common knowledge that he won't appear in the first game. Might not even play the next one. But he was officially injured anyway.

DCL was 50% last night and was still flagged this morning.

Justin was pure red flagged out, unknown return date.

Gudmundson was the intended target but went to the defender instead. Would be soft enough if he got it but he probably will

That Eze chap looks quite talented. I also notice Lowton parking himself at the edge of the area when Burnley have a corner. It's already broken to him a couple of times.

I honestly don’t think you can say whether he or the other lad in the box were the intended target.

Which basically means to me that you can’t call what they’re about to do with it, and that people will be furious whichever way they go.
