    Every couple of years I think about subscribing. Then I hit the pay with Paypal, ergo get a Paypal a/c.


    I do not want one of those ever again.


    Is there an alternative?

    There isn't at the moment - you can checkout as a guest on Paypal but are asked for your email address. However I have raised the question with the team to see if it's something we could or should introduce in the future. Thanks!

    Look into a way of paying with unused phone credit. Lots of is have this.
    I for one would be happy subscribing using this.
