Looking like Chilwell to AWB and Johnstone to Mendy

Great fixtures for both teams in next 2/3 and want coverage there.

Does Leon and Luiz miss the Villa game? Might be worth getting in Grealish if so

    Yep they do.

2,3,2,3,1,2,15,2 Salahs last 7 games and with Klopp saying they are possibly mentally fatigued he has to go at that price

Both suspended, Leno a big loss but Luiz not so much, Gabriel doenst really weaken the team and Tierney due back.

Have 2FT, planning to replace Robertson with one anyway, might go for Van Aanholt as a differential punt. Palace have a nice run of fixtures coming up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,059 ✭✭✭Brian201888

What's the plan for the City assets, have Dias, Cancello and Sterling and as it stands with a strong overall squad I'm almost certainly benching Dias and maybe Sterling

I need a new keeper. Is Mendy the best option? I had been thinking about the Villa keeper.

Martinez just got 4 points when conceding 3 goals. I think he's well worth considering.

My defense is not performing so going to get rid of Robertson. Any opinions on whether Pereira who is back playing for Leicester would be a good option?

Genuinely...what does one do with Mo Salah

I need to make a change upfront
    Currently Bamford, Cavani, Richarlison
At that price range there is not many options
Cavani will not start many more
    Richarlison is a flop
Bamford is consistent but will it last

Any options in that price range

Of all the strikers I like the look of Antonio. I’d get him in for Richarlison and take the chance on Cavani having a solid first sub in case he doesn’t play

I brought Watkins in and he is performing well. Antonio also.

    My front line is:
    Bamford, Watkins, Antonio

Mitchell to either a united defender or Rudiger as a cheaper alternative if he gets another run out tonight

None of the premiums are performing at the moment.
Might even bench him this weekend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,355 ✭✭✭Jim Gazebo

Line up this weekend is going to be a serious headache!! Already did forster to Martinez so I now have two playing keepers.

Thinking TAA to Shaw and wood to Antonio. This will leave me with the headache of a !lifetime at the weekend tho but a strong bench is ok isn't it.

Want son to blank so a few more get rid of him. If he scores he does serious damage still with his ownership but it's just another template signing getting him in. Cannot see another option better than Antonio in his next two up front.

Arsenal without Leno makes Watkins appealing this weekend though

Depending on tonight I think I'll transfer him out for Son and use the extra funds to get KDB back when he returns

Why won't Cavani start may more? Ole came out before and said he'll start more
    than we won't.

If you don't mind a rotation headache every week - Jesus could be an option. 2 in 2 i think?

Watkins has 3 in 4 games and will have future DGWs.

Maybe Werner will give you something to think about tonight.

Got Shaw in for Robertson last night but worried my squad is getting too balanced! Currently have Cancelo and Holding on the bench for this GW alongside Reid.

Thinking of Reid to Antonio for -4 but then I'd likely end up benching Gundogan this week as well. Cant see me dropping any of Cresswell, Chilwell, Grealish, Salah, Bruno, Son, Bamford, Watkins so I'd just be creating more headache's

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭castletownman

    3.6m in bank....

Have DCL-Antonio-Richarlson up front, ESR-Barnes-Sterling-Bruno-Son in mid.

Want to make one transfer this week, preferably Cavani if he is fit, but if not, want to still have enough for KDB/Kane when they come back.

General consensus is Watkins for Richi?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,815 ✭✭✭bantee

Tough one, I just got Salah for Sterling this week and thinking of swapping back!
    Would people go for:
Salah & Zaha to Sterling & Grealish
    Or
Salah & Robinson to Sterling & Watkins

Both are for a -4, leaning to the latter as Zaha might only miss 1 game and his fixtures are good after that

I’m surrounded by Bamfords and Antonios. Will likely get one of them in for DCL. I do realise any one of them could haul at any point but I’m leaning towards Bamford as Leeds play so attacking.

DCL has Fulham in GW24 and a possible DGW if there game V City gets moved. I was actually looking at doing the opposite of your move

When are we likely to find out about DGW's?

Zaha in last week with the Leeds game in mind, Zaha probably back out this week
Thinking Zaha & Wilson to Soucek/Saka & Vardy

Will wait for news on Zaha and Vardy though

And with that news its no Son for me

Johnstone to Pope or Salah to Raphina

Will bank now after that announcement, fairly happy with the team.

Are ye talking about the DGW that was announced?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,951 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Feels like a likely bank week unless you’re bringing in Burnley defenders (and still Brighton won’t be easy), Fulham and Everton don’t have good games this week and I’d say most of us already have 3 City.

    Time to sell Chilwell??

With the DGW announcement, I'll prob ship Chilwell for a Burnley defender and look to upgrade elsewhere.

Spurs are awful, but can't sell before WBA at home.

Every chance I still captain Son. There is nobody else I feel great about and West Brom are still awful.

Have 2fts this week and happy with everyone bar Mitchell

Have enough only for Pieters (4.3) think I’ll make that move now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,127 ✭✭✭The real mccoy 91

2fts and about 10 players I'm not happy with.

    Ederson

    Cresswell digne targett mitchell dier

    Son sterling bruno bowen foden

    Brewster Werner watkins

Plan was to get mendy for ederson and lose foden with the plan being to get dias and cancelo for dier and cresswell in 24. Werner failed the eye test again tonight, bowen isnt the best west ham asset, foden has dropped off, spurs are awful both attacking and defensively.

I'm now considering Pope for ederson. Dcl for werner... Or james for foden but I'm .1 short.

Any fulham players worth consideration for the double? I did own mitro for his only double digit score this year..

Fed up with Spurs and Son but I suppose I have to play him against West Brom before deciding to get rid? Is anyone thinking of benching Salah against City? And those with a couple of City defenders, play them both or just one? I would have thought just 1 but Pool are struggling for goals at home. So many questions!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,951 ✭✭✭✭CSF

I like Antonio too but Fulham aren’t terrible defensively right? Moreso going forward.

Yeah they haven't conceded more than 2 in a game since GW9. I guess even if Spurs are rubbish again, West Brom are so bad they will still give up chances.

    WC an option?

Not if I can help it. Overall rank is in sh*te so h2h leagues are my main aim at this stage. Main one becomes a knock out in gw36 so ideally I want to wildcard into it

That’s the only logic that makes me think it still could be ok. Maybe Mourinho will have a fire in them after that sh*tshow tonight but eh they’ve had a few defeats on the bounce now so maybe not.

Little bit of regret doing Forster to Martinez now. Could have gone for Pope. Might not do anything else and keep two for next week. Only move would be TAA to Mee or Wood to Antonio but I'm starting to think none of them will really benefit me this week. I can have my pick of DGW with 2FT and a -4 if necessary next GW. Could also go Shaw or Digne but need to see them have one more week really. Not considering DCL to be honest. Can't believe he got a bonus last week. He was great at beginning but he went thru a spell where even when he scored he wasn't even near the bonuses. Might go on Vardy when he comes back and downgrade a midfielder. Still have Salah. Thru pure fear that if you get rid and he hauls you are ****ed.

The selection headache is going to break me though. 3-5-2 so probably start TAA, Cresswell, Cancelo with Dias and Dallas on the bench, Dallas first. Going by attacking returns potential for city game than clean sheet potential.. good move???

Was getting rid of either Salah or Son. Grealish in for Salah and giving Son the Captains armband...….now all I need is a South Korean interpreter.....have a Junior GAA managers gee up speech all ready for Son;)

    What could go wrong?
