Wilson for DCL or Bamford seems an easy move

DCL captain blank to start the gameweek. Annoying.

    BP?

Brought in Richi, made him captain, and had DCL up front too.

None of Mitchell, Cancelo or Sterling starting either. Absolute disaster of a GW so far.

The way FF goes, Newcastle will go win to nil

Yep - probably would have gotten decent odds for this prediction

Whoever kept faith with Wilson being rewarded very nicely here.

He was unreal today. No idea where that performance came from

Ugh, I got rid of Wilson last night.

Keeping faith putting it kindly - it's probably more that there are very few forwards actually doing anything worth getting, so why waste a transfer on moving him out - as if Newcastle score he's likely going to be involved.

only watched about 30 mins but he could have scored 6

Wow. Wilson first sub having taken a -4 that resulted in benching him (bringing in DCL who blanked). Owned Wilson since GW15 and hasn't scored once. Also have Stones and Cancelo but as I'm playing 3 at the back Wilson still doesn't come in..

Anyone with Wilson, you're a fúcking genius or jammy. Well done either way.

Pretty much the only reason why I kept him

Jammy but **** it, I need it after the DCL blank and Sterling and Cancelo benching

Wilson is my first sub so really hoping that Stones is not brought on by Pep.

Of course it was Wilson that was the obvious choice and not dcl.... le sigh

Got rid of Wilson couple weeks ago but just glad no one around me has him.

Is it not a case that Newcastle were playing badly and he was doing his best off scraps?

    Great start to a wildcard

    Digne, DCL, Cancelo, Sterling <3

GUNDOG captain though should get a couple, right? Surely?

That game is proof that so much of this season feels like a crapshoot.

Newcastle have been beyond dreadful, and Everton promising as hell.

Ah there’s always been a high amount of random variance.

Other than the Covid absences I think it’s been similar enough

As bad as it is now I think it makes Cancelo Stones & Sterling locks for the Burnley & Liverpool games

I'm totally biased because of the season I'm having.

But the low points totals near the top of the Premier League do suggest it's been a bit strange.

Had DCL as captain and left Wilson on the bench

Yes on Cancelo. Stones isnt as good as Laporte despite recent form so can see him not being as secure going forward. Sterling who knows. Anfield he's been rested before

I finally sold Wilson this week and have Lewis 3rd sub. Did not see that result coming!

Newcastle weren't bad, they broke quite well and they set Wilson up numerous times but I meant Wilson himself was unreal. He worked very hard and put himself in very good positions

My 3 city players :/ inc (c) sterling

Absolutely no chance Brewster finally breaks his duck this week and ruins those City clean sheets for us Stones/Cancelo owners . . . . .

Have always had a hate/hate relationship with Wilson because I was a King fan and have been dismissive of him this season because of pens. Scored 4 from 4:though it was more. Yeah he was brilliant today.

Fingers crossed for your bench. Vice in a different game I hope!
