HKC app: installer billing me for "Annual iCloud/Remote Service/App on Phone"

    Hello, as mentioned I’m being billed yearly for the above. A security firm installed an alarm system for me a year ago and is now looking for yearly payments of €100 euro to maintain access to the app for me. They do not provide any monitoring but, using the app, they can periodically update the software on the alarm system.

    The 100 euro does not include the annual servicing of the system.

    I’m wondering if there’s any way I can manage the app myself and free myself from this expense. I paid for the hardware and installation and suspect the security company is just an unnecessary middle man at this point.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
