    2.4C near Tralee

    WBT 1.6C

2.4mm in the gauge so nice drop falling, should be good inland, don't expect much her unless we get a few showers overnight or some in the early morning might swing in here.

Looks like it's breaking up as it moves inland. Not too optimistic here, maybe we'll get the 1cm. It should stick, ground is cold.

not expecting more than 0.5 to 1cm here in south Meath, that's if I get anything at all. I'm still expecting the front to break up before reaching Meath/Dublin and maybe some patchy light drizzle/snizzle tomorrow morning before it clears. If there is a dusting it will be similar to what we had about 2 weeks ago. Certainly not staying up to watch this one.

I seen a chart from the met office amd it looked promising from 5am to 11am in the morning, time will tell i suppose

Snowy sleety sh1te in North Clare, it's constant enough though.

Despite the radar returns, there's next to nothing falls from the sky at the moment in West Clare, and it looks like a significant dry patch coming up. What a pity.

What about south east Cavan Gonzo? I'm along the Cavan/Meath border, you reckon we'll get a bit here?

My weather app has been reliable last couple of months and it’s giving snow for Dublin from 3am - 11am

    Now that's more like it.

I'm more confident for later with the reports near Atlantic coasts.

Southeast wind for them though innit, over a fairly cold land

We will definitely have the cold, it’s just wether we have the precipitation and a decent intensity.

Starting to stick quite well in Clare now. It's no blizzard or anything but it's nice to see all the same.

Blowing snow now here and the grass appears to be taking on a whitish appearance unless my eyes are deceiving me. Just outside Westport. Wet Atlantic snow but beggars can’t be choosers !

Am I too optimistic to be expecting snow here, west wexford ( foot of the Blackstairs Mountain 150 asl)?

We regularly get snow here but in my life I can't remember ever getting significant snow from the west, always the east /northeast.

I'd be surprised if you didn't see any to be fair. I'm expecting snowfall here just outside town but it all depends on where the precip falls. A night of radar watching
