Redmi Note 9 screen "pulsing"

As stated. Great phone but I've noticed the screen gets very slightly darker every couple of seconds. It is noticeable and a bit of a pain in what is otherwise a very good phone. Bought from Amazon recently so I'd say a refund/replacement is easy enough. Anyone had a problem like this before?
