    His scores against Spurs, Everton, Aston Villa and Leicester were pretty good to be fair. 45 in those 4 games combined.

    Confirmation this week to my theory that it's very very rarely a good idea to take a -8 hit, even in a double GW.

    Kane out for Vardy, Holding out for Coufal, Bruno out for KDB.

    Not a disaster, but certainly not worth the hit - hope I'm corrected after the next set of games!

    Also, Callum Wilson is a donkey.

    I was always against point hits but I just had to make moves this week.

    I took a -12 for:

    Balbuena -> Stones
    Bruno -> KDB
    McTominay -> Gundogan
    Kane -> Timo

    15 points Vs 37 points

    Take off the -12 gives me 10 points ahead so far after the moves with 4 games to go rather than 2.

    I know the Stones score was a pure fluke and all.

    There are certain moments that will always stand out in your mind...

    Your first kiss
    Finding money in the pocket of an old coat
    The birth of your first child

    But NONE of that will ever compare to when a -12 pays off. Not even close!

    Hahaha truth! Love it.

    And Timo was Timo, left points out there like he always does.

    I said I'd either be 150 behind my ML leaders after it or close the gap to 70 or so.... Getting there!

    I took a -16
    Kane -> Vardy
    Mitchell -> Stones
    Brewster -> Rodrigo
    DCL-> Antonio
    Steele - > Johnstone

    10 versus 34 so far, so 8 up with for games to go versus none

    Have tied up my team nicely too

    On a -8 myself

    Son (5) > KDB (21) triple captain
    JWP (2) > Soucek (2)
    DCL (0) > Antonio (9)

    So currently 17 points up, with 3 (4 if you incl. the TC) games remaining from the same three players as opposed to none from the ones I shipped.

    EDIT: Cant count

    5 games remaining. TC is 3 games.

    You also have to take account that you would have had a different captain if you didn’t buy KDB. Let’s say it was Son, then you are 12 points up, not 17.

    West Brom: Johnstone, O’Shea, Bartley, Ajayi, Gibbs, Livermore, Gallagher, Sawyers, Pereira, Robinson, Grosicki

    Subs: Button, Furlong, Ivanović, Peltier, Edwards, Kipre, Field, Krovinović, Robson-Kanu

    Just the 3 West Ham players in this one, what could go wrong :pac:

    Just the four West Ham(C)... these things happen sometimes.

    Wouldn't mind a parting free hit gift from Soucek here but based on his last performance that might not be likely

    A Soucek goal or assist would be great. All the other players you'd sell him for have all returned so far

    Same as, but I think I am the only one that has Ogbonna instead of Cresswell so if he were to decide to pull a 'John Stones' that would be great

    As an aside, this is a pretty long game week and a big thread here, wonder what the record is

    You also have to take into account, that you have KdB TC, so for direct comparison, you then should have Son TC (unlikely as he has only one match, but only clean way to compare them.

    So the gain is actually only 7 points. And finally with DCL out - I assume you would have at least 1 point coming off the bench - and so the gain is only around 6 marks so far.

    Stop stealing all my imaginary points!

    Antonio and Coufal in this.

    Should be a good game, hopefully Coufal can finally produce.

    I am just joking :pac:

    BTW anyone actually captained Antonio? I remember reading such thoughts and dismissing them as too risky because of injury prone etc. Boy was I wrong :S at this rate even bloody phil foden returned more points than Salah....

    Ogbonna & Cresswell. Good week so far so expecting Creswell to assist Ogbonna header and double cleanie. Maybe be greedy and ask Creswell to ping a 25 yard free kick in too. 32 points, yeah that'll do lads.

    DGW34 2015/16 had about 3000 posts I think. KM79 alone had about 250 and probably a mental breakdown.
    From memory we all sold Kane and Alli who had a single game week. They got 2/3 goals each & assists @ defensively solid Stoke and obviously bonuses.
    All the doublers that fools like me sold them for (Mahrez, Vardy, Liverpool players chasing 4th with two easy home fixtures) all blanked - Klopp didn't even give any of the obvious doublers like Coutinho two starts.

    Is Anto playing as an out and out striker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 321 ✭✭505_

    Yeah Antonio playing as the striker.

    That wasn't the one where TC Sanchez delivered about 50 points was it?
