    Hi

Quick question building a house I think I should put in Cat6A cabling or would Cat6 do, as that is capable of 10G over short distances anyway. Better off looking at it then for it.

    Cat7 I presume is overkill

If it's short runs then Cat6 is fine. Cat6a is a thicker cable which makes it heavier, more expensive and harder to work with. That's my experience of using both.

At this point I'd nearly say a few key routes of single mode are worth it.
