Without even listening to it, I love it :D

Imagine how you'll feel if you listen to it so... :pac:

Its my favourite mash-up ever, feels like an actual duet between Jepsen and Reznor

If only there was active walrus that had asked for mashups :o

I've actually used it in 2 Walruses (sulli & tusk), but figured it may never see the light of day, so thought may as well give it a whirl here.

Probably doesn't raise an eye brow now.....but at the time this was an outrageous mixy matchy mash-up.

Pet shop boys & Dusty Springfield. - What have I done to deserve this

Theres around 25 different songs in this mash up, everything from Black Sabbath to Missy Elliot! Enjoy

To me a mash-up and a genre bending song are two different things.

Yeah, I'm not really clear on what's being looked for here. Like does an artist performing a genre they're normally associated count, e.g. a punk act going country?

I felt I needed to add in a few options in case anybody struggled with coming up with a song for the original idea which was to mix genre's.

In fact, I think it was yourself actually that said one of the weeks you couldn't join in because you didn't have a song for the theme.

So I wanted it to be so that everyone could get involved & not have to miss out :)

Ah, it's no biggie. I don't want to take umbrage with your spirit of inclusiveness.

Like that a lot. I'm a fan of African music, although usually more traditional sorts, but that's really catchy.

I forgot how much I love this song..

I'm not much of a Britney fan because she irritates me. But I do like a few of her catchy songs.

Just listening to the original here and its such a beautiful song.. It's a pity she doesn't quit the beauty pagent act and stick to stuff like this

Went through the submissions/selections this morning, some great songs, special mention to LeVar for the Curly Rae/NIN mash up - I am not a fan of mash-ups in general but this is class!!

Anyway, something a bit more conventional from me. Beastie Boys had a connection with rock (Fight For Your Right To Party anyone?), here they went full blown rock (do I dare say punk??)
