Looking to get a Springer spaniel puppy, preferably female with parents in a hunting background. would probably spend max 800 (some prices seen online are crazy high) Could anyone recommend any breeders or know of any springers available at the moment? living in Waterford area. Any help appreciated.

Whats going on with prices is unbelievable. That was one of the reasons I didnt breed any last year. Its made getting a genuine seller very hard. Lads breeding well bred hunting lines in most cases are going to be very careful who they go to. As some are taking the opportunity to sell pups on for profit.
I sent details of a litter to a friend in Wexford the other evening, for his mates brother that is looking for a bitch pup

It’s crazy, I was just looking there at dogs in England, non-reg springers and in some cases springer cross asking £2000+.
