Who was the starting FB in that team? Couldn't quite make out on my phone.

saw this post on leinsterfans of the proposed team:

    1. Peter Dooley

    2. Eoin de Buitléar

    3. Fiachna Barrett

    4. Joe Joyce (C)

    5. Niall Murray

    6. Paul Boyle

    7. Shamus Hurley-Langton

    8. Sean Jansen

    9. Matthew Devine

    10. Josh Ioane

    11. Shane Jennings

    12. Cathal Forde

    13. Byron Ralston

    14. Chay Mullins

    15. Sean Naughton

    16. Dylan Tierney-Martin

    17. Jordan Duggan

    18. Sam Illo

    19. Josh Murphy

    20. David O’Connor

    21. Caolin Blade

    23. Max Flynn

    24. Temi Lasisi

    25. Jack Carty

    26. John Devine

Numbers 24-27 might be wrong as Devine and Hawkshaw looked to wear 12 and 13 when they came on but just listed them as 26 and 27

I had thought it looked like might be Harry West, good to know. Some nice tries in fairness but obviously pre season is a different animal.

Naughton at 15 is interesting, not aware of him playing there at any level previously. Good sign for him that Lancaster rates him and wants to get him involved. He's a sleeper prospect imo and one we need to break through ASAP with Jack Carty aging out.

Looks like Lasisi came on at loosehead, and seemed to have potentially slimmed down a bit, although hard to make out. Hopefully Barrett is trusted enough on the other side of the scrum to allow Lasisi to focus on loosehead exclusively. It's a big ask to have the mobility required while also carrying sufficient bulk to cover tighthead on occasion.

Nice for Niall Murray and Ralston to get an early hit out. Two guys who've stagnated in a major way, their minutes played fell by 57% and 79% respectively between 23/24 and 24/25. Both are still only 25, perhaps Lancaster can rejuvenate their careers.

Jansen looks sharp, he's a guy who hasn't put together many complete performances for us yet, but I think the taste of international rugby and Lancaster influence could spur him on to a breakout season as he enters his prime.

In fairness to Ralston he was injured for a large part of last season.

I didn't realise Ralston is only 25 - definitely hopeful that Lancaster can get him and many others back on track. If Jansen stays fit I can see him being our standout player this season.
