Christ the eagles game is on SNF. The Eagles haven’t played earlier than 9pm Irish time for weeks including MNF.

Washington are the only team guaranteed win and in leaving it only option for SNF not to be a dead rubber

Surely Arizona/Rams would be a better game. Even if Chicago lose earlier in the day, the Cardinals would need to win to progress. If Chicago win earlier then whoever wins joins Chicago in the playoffs.

Only problem is both starting QB's are injured with Goff definitely out. The fear is if the Bears lose then the Rams no longer have anything to play for really other than 6th/7th seed but its still a better game than Philadelphia/Washington and the Eagles are already eliminated.

It comes down to ratings and the NFC east just draws more fans. Not just of the 2 teams involved but also of whoever wins the Giants/Cowboys game earlier.

Suppose the fear is if the Bears lose the Rams would rest players with a playoff game the following week. The Eagles have nothing to play for and an exciting QB

Dolphins Bills is the big game with lots of options for AFC seeds, presuming the Colts win...

It’s funny that whoever wins the giants and cowboys game today will for a couple of hours become eagles fans which I’m sure they must love that.

I will never root for the eagles...... I'll gladly root against the WFT though.....

Well rooting against football teams means you are rooting for the team they are playing. I’d never root for either the giants or the cowboys.

For the last time until September..... Redzone.

    Sigh

My theory that the Bills would take it handy was a tad misplaced...

That roughing the passer call against Detroit was a joke

And a Detroit TD then chalked off in what you'd have to say was a questionable call.

Not the first one this season.

    Fair play to Cleveland.

That last 3min in CLE was like a lifetime

And that one side kick didn’t help things either.

I’m not sure what the refs were looking at in the giants and cowboys game.

    100%

Even as a Giants fan i thought that was Dallas ball

Goes to show how crucial the call on the field is

Cant believe the non-challenge by McCarthy. It cost the Cowboys. I know he didnt get the nod from above but he was watching the screen.

I couldn’t understand why the official made an announcement that the giants player was down when even stevie wonder could see the ball was clearly out.

A challenge flag with no time elapsed in the game. Never seen that before.

The non challenge is classic McCarthy.

This late window is pretty meh so far. You'd swear there was nothing on the line.

Bears Packers has been entertaining if unspectacular

I have redzone on. Sky have chosen rams cardinals. So there's that.

Carson Wentz is going to be a healthy scratch for the Eagles.

Odd hearing Boomer Esiason when you're expecting Tony Romo. He sounds somewhat like him too.

Aaron Rodgers putting on a show against the Bears

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,731 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Chiefs getting the benefit of the doubt x2 there.

I couldn't see Herbert obviously short.
I suppose the same could be said of the KC running back.... But he looked well short of getting the full ball out of the end zone to me.

Ho hum , in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter... Just seems 2 calls going the 14-1 chiefs way is a bit tough to swallow!

Crazy, considering he was an MVP candidate a couple of years ago.

Something perverse in me wants to see a 6 win team in the playoffs though.

    Is that anything new though.

Bears are good though, right? They seem good.

Are they better with Foles or Trubisky though?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,731 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Jeez, huge turnaround in rams cardinals... Chance to go up 10-5....likely to go in behind at halftime.

With so much on the line who would have thought we'd be watching two QBs we've never heard of.....

Definitely better with trubisky, foles was awful after his first two games

I bet every team in the AFC is hoping the Colts don't get into the playoffs. They seem so solid.
