Channel list editor

Have 2 different combo boxes, Blazer HD400 and an Edision Piccolino. Is there a free channel editor that people recommend as I need to change multiple channel details (freq, transposnders, locations etc) and a complete pain using remotes.

Also, any idea how to backup the channel list of the Blazer HD400? Can’t find it on the menu??

Edision has a backup in its menu so at least that’s step 1 for that box.

Both came with channels preinstalled from suppliers but no reply when I asked how they edit them.

If anyone has answers to the above questions, I'd love to know this too! Great to have free tv, but channels going missing is a pain.

Are the boxes connected to your Internet? For me I can go to the ip address on my pc and edit things. Also, I think Dreamboxedit still works but I haven't used it for a couple of years.

No, my Blazer HD400 is not connected to the internet. Its only connected by two coax cables, one to the saorview antenna, and one to the satellite dish.

It has an ethernet port on it. possibly could get access to it that way with an ethernet cable and an older laptop?

Or does anyone know of any decent manuals (e.g. PDF) for blazer boxes?

Any luck with this? I'm finding the interface very limited, and frustrating.

Never found a solution to the Blazer. I'm starting to need to edit channels (or else dish is slightly gone out of alignment) so this pain is coming back for me again. Slightly off topic but time for a decent box I think where I can edit all channels easily on a laptop and upload the setting (assume you might be able just to add the Freq/polarity etc and then upload)....any suggestions welcome

Your information is sketchy. Can you say a bit more, what is broadband, fibre, speed, are you using a laptop and is it windows 10 or whatever. How much do you want to spend? Do you need to record channels? How many channels do you actually want to watch or have easily available to watch?

An enigma 2 box, linux os, will allow you to do everything but you need access via router? and finally you have to be prepared to learn.

Your blazer is still available and as its cheap the idea is if it goes wonky get another one but have you tried supppliers other than where you bought it?

If you want to go cheap this is the best i can find but buying from uk adds another charge.
