Raining a lot right now in Cork City, but should dry out around 1am.
River has already been very high with the spring tide.

There might be flooding on the main streets of the city centre tomorrow morning, but should recede by time of business opening.,

Heavy rain gone through here near Tralee.

Looks like it is filling maybe quicker then expected.

Models have lightened the wind another bit, perhaps only touching 100 km/h in a few places along the coast. Going through very quickly. Strongest winds gone through be early morning.

Vicious southeasterly gusts on the outside of the low centre. Connaught fairly quiet, Leinster blowing a gale.

Windy morning in may part of Dublin (16).

Quite a difference in Dublin. At 0700 Casement 69 kmh/gusting 93 kmh, whereas Dublin AP 28 kmh/no gusts.

Was not expecting it to be as gusty as it is in north Kildare. Gate start banging around 4am end it’s been blowy since. The angle has it coming in on our bedroom window

Seen worse waves in Dunmore and Tramore, wind changed direction not long before high tide.

And tide receding, cork looks to have avoided any bad flooding thankfully.

With noise out there, you would think Dublin wind is stronger.

Suddenly loud and gusty out here and very dark; is this connected?

    West Mayo offshore

Yeah in north Dublin this morning seemed more benign than expected. Its blowy now but not in a stormy sense
