You get what you pay for. Plastic lenses etc. Members have donated some of these to our club. They make good paperweights.

Just unwrapped one there on the kitchen table, the tree is 192 yards away and swaying, there is heavy fog and rain outside and the double glazed window in the way could do with a clean.

The photo doesn't do justice to the actual clarity of the view, unreal value for 25 euro.

When Jupiter and saturn were very visible in the night sky recently, i set mine up on a window sill, just for a laugh, and i could see the planets. Its not a leica, or a zeiss, but for 25 bills or whatever they are now, good enough.
