Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    So, no visiting Christmas markets for me this year. One of the things I love at them is Feuerzangenbowle.

    Has anyone tried making it at home? In small batches? Half the recipes I've seen seem to call for multiple bottles of red wine...

    You're going to be buying in quantity to begin with; unless you happen to have overproof rum at home anyway! I'd just scale everything down linearly really.

    One bottle of red wine and a standard set of mulling spices should do the job for the wine base, and just use rather less than a bottle of rum in the flaming bit.
