LG 47LB580V... screen image flashing on and off...can you advise me?

    Hi!

    I hope you are all well.
    My sister has an LG TV..model number above.
    It is about x5 years old.
    When she turns on the tv.....the screen now flashes on & then off ...continuously.

    I said I would take it from her and try and get it repaired before Christmas...

    Can any of you advise me what this could be and is it fixable?
