Lovely out the back offload by Coombes in the lead up there. Himself and Hanrahan's passing has been great in tight spaces tonight

    Nice from Coombes, there.

Nice finish by French. Earls would be proud!

Zebre are not a clueless rugby team. But neither are they a professional rugby team. And it's time to call a spade. How many seasons of dragons and Zebre being the whipping boys do we really need.

You look at fixture lists in these conferences and all you see is non-competitive games. And if that's true then what's the point.

The basic fundamental is that it's a game, and the outcome is uncertain. When the outcome is certain what's the point of the game

chill out. half of that team is from the Italian equivalent of the AIL. Zebre and Treviso have very visibly improved over the last couple of years.

Edinburgh are shipping a huge beating at home to Ulster right now, i assume we need to bin them along with Dragons and Zebre.

That was such an obvious knock on by Munster but the tmo can't see what's see in front of her face. No wonder folks lose faith

Lovely snipe by Casey. Not a great second half, good to keep them away from our tryline

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,913 ✭✭✭leakyboots

    Feck, is that Casey down?

Our handling this season is gone up a notch. Archer being used as a latch, pop passes, offloads galore - kudos to Larkham, he's making his mark.

    Yes Aherne.

Justice for that scumbag hit on Casey. Rub their faces in it.

That's a really secondary Munster team against a hopeless Zebre team. Even with a first choice Zebre team they are rubbish. Says a lot about the league we play in

a first choice Zebre team would handily beat that Munster side. struggling to tell if you’re half arsedly on the wind up or you just don’t watch much rugby.

Not much to learn there except that Zebre are decimated at the moment

Injury to Gallagher looked pretty bad...

Here's hoping Wycherley and Casey are ok

A week off now and then 7 games in 7 weeks which will give us a better idea of where this team stands.

    Quins (H)
    Clermont (A)
    Leinster (H)
    Ulster (A)
    Connacht (A)
    Clermont (H)
    Quins (A)

Venditti's hit on Casey was Calum Clark level scumbaggery. Casey is very lucky his season wasn't ended.

It wouldn't. It would struggle to beat an AIL team.

Losing Matt Gallagher is a significant blow. Since he's broken into the team he's been excellent.

The back three selection will be interesting. We'll see who out of Conway, Earls or Daly get a run against Scotland. Daly in particular is very short of gametime. Nash and Sweetnam have been racking up Pro14 appearances over the window.

If Daly doesn't play against Scotland, can he start against Quins? It would be his first start since his injury against Connacht A in September.

    Ahern is quick!

Was it him that got a 50m runaway try for the U20s last year? Theres something special about a tight 5 forward in the open field.

I don't think Daly starts against Quins, no matter what happens on Saturday. Haley is JVGs first choice FB. Daly was only starting in August because Haley wasn't available and hasn't played for Munster this season.

Yeah. was always capable of things like that. coached teams who'd have played against him through youths rugby.

    6. Stander, 8. Coombes, 7. O’Mahony should be the new starting back row with O’Donoghue on the bench..

    Ahern was impressive.
    Josh Wycherley was solid.
Would have liked to have seen more of Jack Daly.
French took his try well but didn’t have any other memorable moments.

A curates egg of a performance from us, the BP try scored before halftime but we had some terrible handling errors and some poor decision making from us when we had the ball to cap it all Gallagher picks up what looks like a nasty injury.

Aside from the result we've had better nights in Thomond Park.

He saved a near certain try too and looked chuffed with himself.

I was getting a Covid hair cut at the time, had my glasses off watching it on a small screen and even I, mr Magoo himself, could see that was a knock on
