I was thinking guac would be good alright, thanks! I got confirmation of delivery, email last night saying it would be delivered this morning but got text saying this afternoon now so hoping it will arrive, really looking forward to it!

Aldi do a good selection of Tex Mex dips, a tray of guac, sour cream, tomato salsa and nacho cheese is 1.99. Its found on the top shelf above the ready meals. Guac on its own is there too, 99c.

It arrived, took a while for DPD to update their status and send out the texts/emails. Looking forward to it, thanks for the post Curb Your Enthusiasm!

Still waiting on mine to be delivered, despite getting a text. Got another delivery by DPD an hour ago but no sign of my box. Looking forward to trying it, if it gets here!

My kit never arrived :( Not sure if I want to use it if it arrives tomorrow or another day. It was shipped yesterday and I can't imagine the ice packs lasting more than 24 hours.

Had this for dinner over the last two nights and really enjoyed it, the sauces were especially nice. Like others added in some guacamole but with the amount you get that is most definitely an optional addition.

Only negative I can see is the cooking time suggested for the chicken. There's no way the chicken thighs seared for 2 minutes each side and then put in the oven for 5 minutes are safe to eat. Anyone follow those instructions to the minute and end up regretting it?

100% will order again though, thanks op

Mine was nearly 2 days to late and it was in perfect condition. In fact it was day 3 before I ate it and none of the family have suffered ill effects although I didn't check them this morning! Everything is vacuum packed and the chicken is marinated which extends the shelf life. Box is also chilled so no worries unless you don't get it today

Certainly wouldn't be getting this again.

The chicken was rubbery, the sauces watery, the cheese was very processed and the amount of packing involved was quite frankly, environmentally criminal. We left a lot of it uneaten.

The amount of faff involved in getting it on the table and clearing up afterwards was ridiculous.

I have no idea who this product is aimed at - millennials with tastebud deficiencies?

I found that too about the chicken. Needed far more time in the oven.

I find premade guacamole is terrible. Recipe:
    2 avocados
    Half a lime
    Salt and pepper
    Small amount coriander
    Smal clove garlic
    1 cherry tomato
    Tiny amount onion or scallion

You can dislike the product and packaging all you like. That’s personal taste obviously

But there’s no ‘faff’ at all. It’s incredibly simple to cook and took me and my 9 year old the same amount of time to clean any dinner up

Frying pan for chicken/peppers/onions, saucepan for rice, oven dish for chicken, bowls for cheese, rice, salsa, salsa verde, sour-cream, pickled onions, jalapeños. It was faffy and there was rakes of stuff to tidy up afterwards - it's not convenience food and it's not nice enough to justify the faff - obviously that's just my opinion though.

The cooking instructions if followed, will give you food poisoning or salmonella - I'm actually surprised they have left themselves wide open to be sued - 4 minutes in a pan and 5 in an oven = raw chicken.

Have you never seen Mexican food before?

I don’t consider emptying something into a bowl a faff

Yes, I've traveled extensively through Mexico - that Boojum meal kit is nothing like it.

I found the inconvenience of answering the door to the delivery man unacceptable.

I thought it was delicious and there was loads of everything. Like others though I adjusted the timing for the chicken. I was wondering if there's a typo and it's meant to be 15 minutes in the oven and not 5

And how much prep and cleaning did you need to do in Mexico?

I honestly can’t get my head about what you thought you were getting?

I know, the lazy cnut should have cooked it for me.

Overall I think it was good value at the Black Friday offer price and a bit of a novelty. At the normal offer price I'm not so sure.

Sent mine back as he wasn't wearing a sombrero.

No cheese or sour cream in the three bean kit.......still tasty...good bit of heat....overall the chicken was nicer

Grand old set but the tiny fajitas were infuriating.
