I got the Argos reservation confirmation email, but it did't contain any reservation number. I'd take it that it didn't go through?

Usually that’s a sign that the system couldn’t keep up with demand. Most likely you didn’t get one. Happened me a few times with TV’s etc

Take it that you weren't successful.

You need to get a reservation number to be in with any chance of getting one.

What do people use as the mobile phone number if reserving for collection in Argos Newry?
Do they accept phone numbers from the Republic?

They haven't had the consoles in stock in store at all. Why would they wait until 11 to sell them online?


They won't be checking stock they don't actually have.

I've been on there since the beginning. I've seen Ps5 come online as well as xbox x, near to midnight. Exactly same as this. I just didn't have the funds to unfortunately at the time.

For instance, earlier Smyths site just said OUT OF STOCK. Now it gives stock location for each store. Still out of stock but exactly same as Xbox Series X.

If I was betting man, I'd say if you stay up tonight will secure one. )
