You go and purchase the standard edition of game for £59.99.

I have done it and refund was approved immediately. Same for 100s others who did it on HUKD.

Should be noted that Standard Edition does not work on Series X/S. You need the cross-gen copy to get this.

I gave one to a friend and used the second code myself and refunded the original.

I have refunded many games digital that I didnt like in the first hour including this and got refund immediately.

Even if you dont refund the standard you still get 1 x Standard and 2 x Cross Gen for 70£

Its 70/75€ each in shops.

I'd happily do the same myself.
I'd buy it myself but I've already reached my max refunds from the xbox store this year, they won't auto-refund me anything at the moment.

No its gets added to profile you use. Just use his profile to buy it. You can buy as gift and get code but dont know if glitch works then.

Even if you dont refund, you get 3 for the price of one.

Yes, and yes. This glitch is being so widely posted that they'll almost certainly do something to revoke it. They could very easily push out a patch so that it checks if you actually own the full game before letting you play based on just having the Cross Gen add on

They are bargains if fulfilled/honoured by retailer. I have had many glitches fulfilled over the years. Their was a 2£ Fifa 20 glitch last year as well which I got.

Glitch is that even if you claim refund of original you get to keep 2 others.

BUT even without that still is a bargain as you get 3 x copies of the game for £70 instead of 60-70£ each. You do not have to claim a refund.

I was following it over on HUKD. I just don't get some people. Was it not enough to get a few copies for £70 but then the clever folk have to push it and get a refund on the main purchase. That's the kinda thing that'll get this highlighted for the ban hammer.

Still works as per Hukd posts. If getting error on Xbox , try PC, few got the code working that way yesterday

I went through the steps there on the Irish side and have a spare code.
As mentioned earlier on the thread, I'm unable to get any further refunds from MS at the moment so it's cost me the full €75.
I'll sell the spare code for €25 to at least get some of the benefit of the deal!

They wont ban several thousand accounts especially as Series X is just out so it will be a bigger loss to them
