You voted it against it! Begone heathen!

I'd have voted for it in most other rounds, it was just unlucky to come up against Hozier. Don't blame me, blame Necro* for putting them against each other! :P

*it's probably not wise to piss off the host, so don't blame Necro.

    George Ezra- Shotgun.

George Ezra - Shotgun. Was the best of the lot when it was new before it got played out

    mmm. . . George Ezra.
And I will agree with Homer. Let Her Go is a great song but I'm not a fan of his voice.

2025 gigs: Selofan, Alison Moyet, Wardruna, Gavin Friday, Orla Gartland, The Courettes, Scissor Sisters, Nine Inch Nails, Rhiannon Giddens, New Purple Celebration, Nova Twins

    George Ezra - Shotgun advances

Interestingly Shotgun was added by myself to push the numbers up so we could get 128 songs up against each other in Round 1.

One of 6... wonder if anyone can spot the others ;)

    2 have gone through already...

My Chemical Romance-Sing ; wasn't expecting much from any of these (don't like Bruno Mars at all, and while I'm not familiar with much of their stuff Kendrick and MCR are very hit and miss for me from the ones I do know) but this was a good surprise, adding it to my new discoveries playlist

    My Chemical Romance.
My nomination. The funny thing is that I discovered this through the Glee TV series.

Kendrick Lamar - I'm not entirely sure if I like it or not but it certainly has me intrigued. Seems like the type of song that needs a few listens to "get it", unfortunately we don't have that time here but I'm gonna take a chance on it.

Was otherwise gonna vote for Bruno Mars; not generally a fan but 'Just The Way You Are' is a nice song.

    Can't stand MCR at all.

    Interesting three way tie here.

I'm not particularly enamoured with any of the tracks tbh so I'm gonna go with the best reasoning (imo at least).

    And that is...

As a result Kendrick gets my vote and Kendrick Lamar - Alright advances

    M83 - Midnight City

This is what the kids call "a banger"

    M83

Considered it for my own nominations, didn't quite make the cut but glad someone else put it forward.

Tough call between Midnight City and Hollywood Hills, both great songs. Happy to see either progress, but will go for...

    Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Sacrilege

One of my favourites by them, I love it when the gospel choir kicks in.

I cannot imagine a less likely duo than Ed and Eminem!

Not voting as I can't listen where I am right now but definitely will listen tomorrow
