Plate for Console on Boat

I recently replaced the steering system on my Orkney Strikeliner. This resulted in some 'ugly holes' on the console. Could anyone advise where I might get a stainless steel plate to cover. About 8cm square approx. Perhaps an air vent cover? Would need to be good quality and high grade stainless steel, thanks, Paddy

B&Q do small sheets of aluminium checker plate and smooth it might be easier to work with and will still look good, any steal fabricators should be able to get you a bit of stainless http://tiscosteel.com/product/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIu8ujhpXw7AIVRLDtCh25rwxIEAAYAiAAEgIptPD_BwE it can be expensive so I tend to look in skips for it chippers getting a refit are a good place to start as all their counters are stainless
