The only issue I ever had was with a link, never had problems with screenshots.

A link expire after 3 days so screenshot is the only way to redeem after that.

If you stick to people with reasonable number of posts for the years they have been members or posters who don't just sign in for this promo, you should be fine.
They may have been used already so you have no control over that or the scanners don't pick up the screenshot but most of the time, you'll be fine.

Just because you haven’t been a member of boards for years or don’t have a high post count on random other forums shouldn’t exclude you from participating in this one, whether swapping or claiming items people are offering for free. I’ve done swaps and claimed freebies and the vast majority of times the screenshots have worked. Sometimes the assistant will say it’s not working, other times they say it’s already been used. But this has also happened with screenshots I’ve taken on my own phone myself and know for definite are unused.
Unfortunately it’s a bit of a gamble when you swap but in my experience it’s nearly always been successful, whether the person I’ve swapped with is new to boards or has minimal posts.

anyone else notice that the kind bar says "peanut butter dark chocolate" but the picture is a salted caramel dark chocolate? i wasn't sure which one it was and was afraid the incorrect one wouldn't scan. i went with peanut butter and it worked.

anyway, I have sweet chilli nuts and an air freshener to give away

Haha that happened to me when I won a kind bar when this started. Walking to the till sweating like I was a criminal!!
