Thatcher was a research chemist before she went into politics - was she part of a team that invented something to do with ice cream? A way of making it softer or something like that? I vaguely recall reading this before.

It's such obscure trivia that i doubt many people would know it without looking it up, which i did.

I didn't think it was that obscure. It is a mad coincidence though. What isn't true, however, is the 'urban legend' that Mama Cass died because she choked on a sandwich.

It really isn't that obscure. There's been far more obscure ones.

Its all general knowledge at the end of the day, so the obscurity level is down to the individuals guessing.
