If you’re part of an uncontacted tribe say in the Pacific, being a flat-earther is a belief. In Western society, I would call it a psych diagnosis.

Flat earthers dont believe everything they are told. They may not even believe the earth is flat. They just think you should question everything.

If you cant understand that you will probably happily work as a teacher or hospital porter or some job where you can be told how to do the same thing year on year in the same building for the rest of your days. Happily eating the same sandwhiches for the rest of your lunches. All the while Joe Bidens son sells secrets to chinese spy chiefs and talks openly about it on tape and they tell you Trumps a baddy.

You don't need to go to space to prove that. All they need is a trip to the nearest beach. Ask them to explain why the sky meets the ocean when they look out.
