    What the flip?

It's a sports tastic late late, which already has me anxious.

Arsene Wenger, Henry Shefflin and Rob Kearney all on to talk about doing worthwhile things of actual substance with their careers.

Then there's that slippery so and so from various tabloid rags and tv shows, Piers Morgan.

And, because it's been about a fortnight, Dermot Bannon is on.

And maybe some other people. Francie B would be my guess.

Edit: Sarah and Cathleen Lynott will talk about how their dad never forgot where he came from after he was raised in Crumlin in Co Dublin. (Great!)

Up-and-coming star Loah will also perform her spellbinding cover the Thin Lizzy classic ‘Dancing in the Moonlight (Gre...hmmm. We'll see about this).

Thanks Donie for starting the thread.

Dermot Bannon must be living in the RTE canteen

Was just about to start a thread, looked at RTE.ie, apparently Morgan is talking about "hysterical woke liberals" I miss the days when people didn't mindlessly regurgitate that stupid American sh1te.

Also Phil Lynott's daughters are on to talk about a Doc on him, looks like a decent line-up, Morgan aside.

Yep, thank you. More substance! What is going on today?

    Thanks Donnie.

It speaks volumes about the LLS that the thread - which is, as we know, the best thing about it - takes someone a Herculean effort to even start it

It really did take a lot of effort.

    Seriously, it did.

Now, just prep yourself lads for the covid gospel according to Tubridy, “ and on the fifth day he waffled, and pontificated.......”

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,508 ✭✭✭KevRossi

Tubridu has a fairly desperate track record on promoting sleazeballs on his show.... Katie Hopkins, John Delaney, now Piers Morgan... he loves giving them the oxygen of publicity.

Then when they are exposed he's usually first man to call them out.

That silly bint did pop into my head when I was trying to be diplomatic about the male version of her being on tonight.

Because I only know of her from this show.

The product placement show of a Friday night?

I know Arsene Wengers career went a bit downhill but not so bad he'd end up on the late late

He was on Graham Norton last week or maybe it's this week.

And yes, he is better than this.

Songs like that should be left alone. I heard some young one doing Message in a Bottle in an ad today. NO NO NO.

Wonder will Second Captains get an interview with him, would love if McDevitt had an hour long in-depth chat with him.

    Jesus, that would be excellent.

On the other hand, the thoughts of him talking to Off the Ball irritates me greatly.

    1. Roy Keane
    2. Henry's handball
    3. Roy Keane again
    4. A how Irish are you quiz. Probably.

Luckily Arsene is intelligent and articulate, so he'll probably just talk away until the next cue card interruption.

    Oh no you di-in't!

I'm guessing the Thin Lizzy cover is a breathy female piano ballad thing that's become trendy the last few years, I would only have time for it if someone covered 'Death to All But Metal' or 'F*cked With An Anchor' in that style.
