Theory on cakes and π

    I'm sure this has been done before, so apologies in advance.

    my theory....curves do not exist in reality, and therefore π cannot exist.

    curves don't exist, cos no matter how far you zoom in on the perimeter of a cake, eventually you reach a point where you can measure the distance in a straight line between 2 points, and therefore make a triangle.

    when you know the area of a triangle its easy to know the area of the total 'cake'.

    As an aside, has a curve ever been defined?

    π is meant to be pie.
