    Hi all
that time of the year again where fireworks are going off every night.
Our next door neighbor had a lucky escape when local kids taped a firework too her front window which exploded and smashed the window in on top of them.
She rang the guards but they never arrived which is just shocking.
Somebody could of being easily injured with the flying glass.
    Shocking carry on

Little scumbags! Imagine if your child was the type of person to tape and light fireworks to the houses of unsuspecting neighbours.

Can you make a complaint about the local garda station?

Antisocial behaviour is out of control they aren’t worried about the Gardaí in the slightest these days as they know nothing will happen. It’s rife up and down the country and political parties or authorities don’t want to know about it.

Gardaí will do nothing about fireworks going off - in best case they will do a “drive around” 2 hours after you call when the scumbags are long gone

Even if they got caught absolutely nothing will happen. This is Ireland 2020 where roaming teen gangs are allowed hold good honest people to ransom. Gardaí not at fault as they are backed up by a very very weak judicial system and hordes of bleeding heart brigades that defend these scumbags.

Imagine if that is what your parenting had resulted in. How proud you would be.

Whatever about anything being done, I didn't think they could resort to doing **** like that.

The worst thing is, if you so much as laid a finger on these little dragged-up bags of ****e, even to just restrain them, their pond-life parents would have the guards on you fairly quickly (after aggressively lecturing you an inch from your face on how they're just kids and you're out of line for protecting your hard-earned home and family...)

That's absolutely disgusting behaviour. It's not funny and I don't doubt for one minute that the little scrotes even taught of the consequences towards this action. Jesus that's horrible.

As for the guards not arriving. That's shameful on their parts. Someone attached a firework to a window, smashing a window and potentially causing harm and they didn't even budge? I knew the Guards were useless at the best of times but that's just taking the pi$$ all the same

Or put your balls on, lay them out with a punch and then slap their useless father up and down the road when he comes up looking for trouble

Seems to get earlier every year as well. My poor dog is scared out of her mind the last week hiding under the Christmas tree.

Joe Duffy had some lad who blew bits of his fingers off holding a firework and it was bananas. Joe telling him how articulate he was and the chap saying it was Corona's fault because there was nothing to do.

    It's a disgrace, Joe

Yep we’ve had em going off since June/ July, oddly nothing last night but today since about 17:00, round here they launch them into the Garda cars when they are out looking for the little runts who threw them in the first place.

I was listening to this, he said him and his friends were bored because theres nothing to do so they decided to play with fireworks.
Said theyre easier to get than drugs..implying he takes drugs and gets them easily.
The kids need the money to buy fireworks, the parents are the ones giving it to them and apparently dont know or care what their kids are up to.
That mother and her son should have got a bollocking on air.

Best to keep them in the fridge, that'll stop them going off...
