Will normal service resumes in Russia (HamVerBot) or will everything hit the fan again ?

  • 30,000 fans expected! With that weather forecast, I'd nearly risk it and fly to Russia myself :P

  • Will Buxton staying at home for this race due to positive Covid test. I reckon there'll be a few instances before the year is out of teams being affected by a case.

"Wait, what about the risk of an outbreak?"
Liberty Media: "Why worry about something that isn't going to happen?"

  • I’ve not paid too much attention to this track. What’s the chances of drama and safety cars?

  • Maybe this weekend , Track is dusty , Sainz and Latifi have both crashed this morning (red flag for Latifi ) . With a few others running off
If it is drama , it will probably be only in the first 3 laps after the start . I think this track is usually a procession .

Well it's not completely his fault though, didn't the track have to be designed around the Olympic winter park?

  • So are you telling me my chances of nodding off are greater than the chances of a safety car?

    ;)

    Yes!

    For actual F1 I agree.

In the F12020 game I love this track as the dynamics are a little different to reality and it's easier to overtake.

How did he manage that. All I hot from the highlights of it was that he did not set a representative lap time for some reason.

  • He over ran turn 10 or 13 with a lock up , flat spotted them and finished off what ever program he was running . It was early enough in the session so I do not think there was clear running after that to put in a decent time .

  • Getting the pillow ready...
But I said that to Monza too..
    So where are the torpedoes?
    And Renault is ever improving

Jesus, a two tier F1 in all its glory.

  • Oh yeah , this is the third longest track , so its going to make it look way worse I think . Tier one been First and second . Tier 2 been Renault back .

  • Channel 4 highlights are qualification, 18:30 Saturday and race, 17:30 Sunday . Earlier than usual

  • Stuck a few bob on a Ricciardo podium to make things interesting.

  • In Q1 I'd love to see Lewis hit the wall...hard...and be out of quali and take grid penalty for a new gearbox. It might spice things up, because at the moment it's pretty sure to be another pole for him.

  • Cracking lap from Russell! Over a second faster than his teammate and ahead of both Ferraris

  • Vettel out. Big crash. Red flag. Hamilton probably now out of Q2!

He still has time to get a lap in when the session is restarted

  • Should be ok for Hamilton.
