30,000 fans expected! With that weather forecast, I'd nearly risk it and fly to Russia myself :P

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,436 ✭✭✭ Charlie-Bravo

Will Buxton staying at home for this race due to positive Covid test. I reckon there'll be a few instances before the year is out of teams being affected by a case.

"Wait, what about the risk of an outbreak?"
Liberty Media: "Why worry about something that isn't going to happen?"

I’ve not paid too much attention to this track. What’s the chances of drama and safety cars?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,856 ✭✭✭ Joeface

Maybe this weekend , Track is dusty , Sainz and Latifi have both crashed this morning (red flag for Latifi ) . With a few others running off
If it is drama , it will probably be only in the first 3 laps after the start . I think this track is usually a procession .

Well it's not completely his fault though, didn't the track have to be designed around the Olympic winter park?

So are you telling me my chances of nodding off are greater than the chances of a safety car?

    ;)

    For actual F1 I agree.

In the F12020 game I love this track as the dynamics are a little different to reality and it's easier to overtake.

    Why was Hamilton second last!?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,856 ✭✭✭ Joeface

He wrecked his Hard tires early on , and was running the opposite of what Bottas was doing .

How did he manage that. All I hot from the highlights of it was that he did not set a representative lap time for some reason.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,856 ✭✭✭ Joeface

He over ran turn 10 or 13 with a lock up , flat spotted them and finished off what ever program he was running . It was early enough in the session so I do not think there was clear running after that to put in a decent time .

    Getting the pillow ready...
But I said that to Monza too..
    So where are the torpedoes?
    And Renault is ever improving

In Q1 I'd love to see Lewis hit the wall...hard...and be out of quali and take grid penalty for a new gearbox. It might spice things up, because at the moment it's pretty sure to be another pole for him.

Cracking lap from Russell! Over a second faster than his teammate and ahead of both Ferraris

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,210 ✭✭✭ Gaoth Laidir

Vettel out. Big crash. Red flag. Hamilton probably now out of Q2!

He still has time to get a lap in when the session is restarted
