This could be game set and match... wouldn't put it past Pogacar to win solo from here

To be fair Boardman immediately said ‘he’s gone’

Pog and Rog is some 1-2 punch. Maybe the only way to beat Belgium

Blimey! Belgians have to sacrifice riders. Will Van Avermaet ride for Van Aert?

    Pog is riding for Rog

Great timing of the move by JA

As the commentators are saying, an advantage for him to have WVA in the chasing group.

They will get him if they don't keep looking at each other?

    Great finish

    Maybe not now!

    Great win

Move over Sam your week as the DQS golden boy is over :D

Really enjoyed that race. Happy to see JA win too

I had to tune out when Pog was leading the way and tuned back in for last 10k. What happened Pog?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,010 ✭✭✭velo.2010

Fair play to JA. Well deserved after being at the sharp end of most of the top races for several years now.

Well that's the Worlds done and dusted. The Giro starts next Saturday!

I think they had the time wrong for a start and he wasn't as far ahead as the tv was making out

That team must be a real happy place to be right now

I've seen it said he's the first Frenchman since Prost to win at Imola :D

Eurosport as usual didn't bother with the podium

So here's the champ in the rainbow jersey.

Safe to say the squash buckling Julian Alaphilippe an immensely popular winner. He had said last season after the Tour he would aim to win Flanders ....Who knows that he will do in the next 2 years. Hopefully he won’t get the curse that many wearers not called Sagan have suffered . To be fair, Valverde had a solid year in the rainbow colours with a few wins, a national title and second in the Vuelta but remember he had to pull out of Liege rather early in that race (2019)

I think Pedersen beat Ackerman in a sprint for his win in the jersey this year.

Disappointing that Pedersen didn't get to tackle the cobbled classics in his rainbow stripes
