Headlight sealant

Hi, Going to tidy up the headlights on my car and was wondering what would be a good sealant to use, any recommendations? In the past I tended to clear coat the headlight, but it was never very successful as it crazed and I could not get it laid down right.

Gtechniq CSL, Exo, C1, C5 or CarPro DLUX, CQuartz are the kind of things you'd be looking at.

C1 or C5 are probably the cheapest.

Otherwise a liquid polymer product would suit. A lot of the headlight restoration kits include this.

How often do you need to repeat the sealing with this approach?
Does anyone lacquer them to avoid having to do the sealant?
