It is simply a Raspberry Pi computer in a nice case, with an SD card full of downloaded games.
The best thing about it is the controller, but that might be a knock-off as well.
I'd steer clear of it, to be honest, as the component parts are pretty cheap and you could make your own for a fraction of the cost, the case, computer and controller are probably about €60, the sd card is a tenner and you could find an image for it via Google for free.

If you really, really have to own one there are similar devices for a lot less on Adverts.ie

Seems if you buy the components in Europe, they add up to around 100e not including the SD card. Parts of most likely AliExpress'd ordered though.

That's actually a bad thing, it's a one way ticket to choice paralysis. You're much better off curating your own list of games to play.

It's not even a feature. It's basically here's a download I got off a torrent site stuck on a SD card. You can do that yourself.

the best option is as the others have said, buy the Raspi 3b, case and SD card (controller optional) and follow a guide on how to set one up
much better enjoyment setting up the thing than playing some of the games

If you have to use a Pi, you're FAR better off with a Pi 4. It'll give you the ability to use the runahead feature of RetroArch....which is a game changer in terms of latency reduction. I find games like Sonic, Super Mario World, etc, borderline unplayable with regular emulation latency.....but with runahead, it's very very close to how the game should feel.

Following on from the other thread, just going to CEX and buying a Wii might be just the ticket.
The modification of it is pretty simple and you end up with a console ready to run loads of emulators and games and already have a perfectly useful controller and access to more.
It's robust and ready to plug into your TV.
Plus, it can play Gamecube and Wii games right away!
