Crazy isn't it? Before a game against West Brom who have shown they are going to really struggle this season.

Werner is one of the best captain candidates as well.

Not the thread, but he hasn't been looking that great - he missed a sitter today - albeit would have been offside but he didn't know that. I agree that probably should keep him against West Brom, but with price rises etc, if folk don't act now - may not be able to get in who they want etc.

Class is permanent. He wasn't picked for 2 GW. he will come good and wba is time to do it. Everyone was afraid of the son drop and he then scored 4

There have been many top class players that have gone to Chelsea where their class disappeared, Shevchenko, Torres, and most recently Morata.

Son has been around for years and everyone knows he can go on runs, so you know what you get with him.

Like is said during the game, the missed penalty may work in his favour if he gets to take them in future.

In fairness to Werner, he's won two penalties in both the games he's played, the second in a team that was down to ten men at the time. He's playing in a side that's still being assembled we have to remember. Add in Ziyech, Pulisic, Chilwell, and a Havertz that can be deployed in his rightful position off the front, and the goals will come.

I'd wager 50% of the people that picked him had never even seen Werner play. They bought off the hype, and that needs to be backed up with goals. I had him in a World Cup fantasy competition and he's a very sreaky striker. Missed a load of sitters in that word cup

Have you ever watched him apart from that world cup? That was 2 years ago. He's a class finisher and will get goals in that team. Wba next week.

Wouldn't see much Bundesliga to be fair, looked good in the Champions League V Spurs, and I can see he got 28 goals last season which is wonderful, but Sebastian Haller looked a good striker in Bundesliga too. I'm not saying he will be a flop, but I didn't think he deserved 50% ownership or whatever having never played in the league.

Werner was the easiest option for Chelsea attacking coverage. That's why he was 50% ownership.

Son transferred out by 480k last week and transferred in by 331k (already) this week is classic early FPL season stuff.

I'd be delighted if Werner drops in price. I've decided to WC so can take him out of my team and put him back in the next day for cheaper. I won't hit the WC button until later in the week so my transfer out counts towards his price drop.

Similarly, I took a pre gw 1 planned move of Son, Auba, Richarlison to Martial, Salah, Mahrez. Unless Mahrez scores 8 goals later, I feel like quite the clown!

Really want to hold off until City Match is done tonight to make transfers but Rodriguez is very close to a price rise!

I wonder will he go up before tonight?

How high does the percentage have to be before the player goes up in price?

Price changes only happen once a day, usually around 1/2am.

So you can watch the gane in peace and make a call after it.

He has been high 90s and over the 100 twice in the past 2 days.

Or Timo suffering a price drop... been on 100% two nights in a row

The up threshold definitely seems a bit different this year

Excess of wildcards the main reason I suspect.

Yup, it's bloody ridiculous. He's had 500k + net transfers in this gameweek and still not gone up like.
