Find it almost unbelievable that not one rider tested positive. Particularly after all the fans screaming in their faces in the Pyrenees.
Onwards and upwards to the Alps!

Hope Sam wins today but maybe he's thinking Poitiers tomorrow.
Kelly won his first Tour stage there in '78.

Roglic had to remind Sagan he was still wearing his mask just before they rolled out.

Roglic should mind his own beeswax.

Zoo La Palmyre really not a good place - used to contain some very depressed polar bears

Sea temps aren't bad there - should be around 20°C

It's grand at this time of year. I was swimming on beaches nearby only a few weeks ago.

Average speeds in the first 40 km of Stage 10 of #TDF2020

    Attackers 49.6km/h
    Peloton 48.1km/h

    Not holding back are they!!!!!

Roche looks like he's finished after coming down in that crash, still not up and at that pace the time cut will be hard to make alone and injured

Velon have Nico racing in group 3

    6k

According to the guardian live blog it's soon. The map they gave at start has it at (I think) 39km to go, Guardian blog said they just passed the 49km point.

    Saving the legs maybe?

    Saving the legs maybe?

I'm guessing yes, otherwise it looked a bit weird.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,518 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

I think once he saw that Trentin was going to win it and Sagan was going to be only second, then it'd be better to save the legs

Mustn't have been much on offer there in terms of points? Full gas for the stage win presumably.

20, 17, 15 - so probably thinking winning the stage is more important to have a lash at alright.

Settling down here with a beer to watch the last 30 km. I'll be shouting for Sam at the finish

He seemed to latch onto Sagan's wheel and sit there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,134 ✭✭✭Bambaata

If he wins the stage he takes green as I understand there are 40 on offer to winner and just 30 for second so I assume his eyes are firmly set on that. Stage win must be far more important to him than green but a win here gives both

definitely saving everything for the end. Fingers crossed now

Or is he after the crash there? EDIT: He's there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,998 ✭✭✭c.p.w.g.w

    Sams in here thankfully.

This last 30km is madness, especially with so many riders having been off the bike due to Covid19

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,991 ✭✭✭De Bhál

Thank feck Sam wears that helmet, makes him really easy to spot

50 points for the winner I think
    30 for 2nd
    20 for 3rd

At least the peloton is quite small so we should get a nice safe sprint after the 3 km banner

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,991 ✭✭✭De Bhál

Sam looking a bit exposed up the front there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,518 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

Sagan is welded to Sam's back wheel... they might as well be on a tandem!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,973 ✭✭✭Mefistofelino

Ewen will take this - Sam and Sagan will mark each other out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,518 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

They flattened a lot of roundabouts
