Gaps between JSA and BTEA

Hi all, Quick one about btea, I am on JSA and have been job searching but want to now change careers. Spoke with intreo told them I have been accepted on course. (i applied to all these really late in the day I know:o ) They said ok so your no longer job seeking so fill out BTEA form and send it in and you can move to that…

Hi all, Quick one about btea, I am on JSA and have been job searching but want to now change careers. Spoke with intreo told them I have been accepted on course. (i applied to all these really late in the day I know:o )

They said ok so your no longer job seeking so fill out BTEA form and send it in and you can move to that as you would be no longer elligble for JSA.
In mean time the course i had been accepted for filled up and next similar one not till mid october :eek:. Have I know fallen between the social welfare gaps as they wont give me BTEA until october and now they can say that I said im not job seeking. What normally happens in these circumstances? I have filled out the BTEA form but not posted it yet. Should I expect my JSA to be stopped now in the next week or two?
