CPAP whistling problem

Wondering if anybody has any suggestions or advice for a problem I am having.

I have a Philips Respironics nasal mask (the blue gel one), but I am finding the whenever I turn, the mask starts to "whistle". This "whistling" is coming from the joint where the L-shaped piece connecting to the hose meets the mask itself (the point where the hose can rotate while still connected to the mask). If I move the hose/L-shaped piece to the right angle, the "whistling" stops, until I turn again.

Any ideas how I can stop the "whistling" without it waking me up 20 times a night?
