Would you kill the chub if you catch them? also who do you think would be introducing them to Ireland? anglers from the UK bringing them over?

To be honest, killing them is kinda pointless. They have spawned successfully, so it is literally impossible to remove them at this stage. They have probably made their way into Lough Ree too.
They had to come from the UK, either UK anglers brought them over, or and Irish angler brought some back from a trip to the UK. Either way, it was a very very stupid idea.
