I long given up on this show but happen to be listening to that awful story re the child needing urgent surgery. Just dreadful and whilst I understand the complexity of the surgery and after care its outrageous this child waiting this long , heart breaking stuff

She’s an RTE staffer. They didn’t mention that part. They’ve been replaying the clip since yesterday.

I have every sympathy but if she was Pam Anonymous there wouldn’t be a word about it.

If you're in that situation, you use every contact you possibly have to try and get something to happen...

I don’t blame her for a moment. It is highly typical of the organization though.

I see another one of G Ryan’s progeny is on Fair City now, supposedly. What a talented brood he had!

Did PBH just get caught saying "awful" when they cut back to him at the end of the Callans Kicks bit there?!

Don't recall hearing that but then I did tune out during that segment, it was awful

Ah you missed the 'theres a whole in da bo-et'. And we all need to get motivated to make a change; wonder could she motivate a wad of cash into my bank account so I might purchase an electric car so.

They have the weight of the world on their shoulders! I don't know who these youngins are or who they pretend to speak on behalf of (apparently if you're to believe them all the youth are unified and are the ones advocating change) but all I see of the youth these days are spoiled, wasteful little brats.... I'm sure they're worried about climate change alright 😂

The Indian girl wants to save India from comfy Ireland with a few million population. Ireland having little effect on climate change compared to India. She won’t go among the 1.3 billion where she may have more effect. Empty vessel.

There's absolutely no doubting change coming but Nessa really needs to spend a little time living in Rural Ireland.

Lol , Local, Rural Links , I'd love to cycle more but not very practical living on a mountain and navigating pot holes.

Ah I get it now. One of the climate activists is funded by the local authorities. As the m & m ad says “ now it all makes sense.” Now I even hate more having to pay the LPT as the deadline looms even closer.

    wonder who funds the others.

This social distancing Queuing has me baffled, going on video's from last weekend they'll need a rural link for coppers punters, the Queuing will stretch to wicklow 🤣

Clearly Not 😁 I'd love to see a dancing heading to the toilets mock up on her TV show 🤣

I'm more surprised that she hasn't yet had one on it.

Or a mock up of Social Distancing Queuing, whatever the hell that is. I gave up watching the TV Show over a year ago the mock up were just becoming farcical 😁

It's not far off state-sponsored (or local authority sponsored!) bullying at this stage..

Discussion today re nuclear power between Sarah Cullen ( a proponent) and Oisin Coughlan (Friends o t Earth).

She won the argument hands down, one of the most impressive debaters I've heard in quite a while, consistently drew the debate back to the factual net points while he went all over the place with diversions and tendentious opinions. The rapier versus the marshmallow! He couldn't even pronounce the word correctly.

Yep, I just can't wait for the endless regurgitated stockphrases. "What if it's not windy?" "What if you run out of battery?" "Shure it was 5 degrees this morning."

A good general rule of thumb is if Liam Herrick from the Irish Council for Civil Liberties is annoyed then it's usually a sign the government is doing something right.

    Professional, unelected, moaner.

I was listening to that segment and while she a competent spokesperson for the nuclear industry I didn't think the debate was that one sided.

In my opinion he wasn't that bad and she wasn't that good. However that's just my perception.

It's worth noting that the nuclear industry always turn up selling their "solution" when climate change is in the news.
