Wonder was there a factory outbreak or worse a nursing home outbreak that has driven up the numbers in the Carrick area

Cahir / Ardfinnan area not so good now after a wedding just before Christmas. Lot of people at the wedding and people linked to the wedding goers have now tested positive.

Massive outbreak in ballina could be causing the spike in numbers in tipp too.

Some cases sprang from someone who was positive going to O'Donovans restaurant (don't think they knew they were positive) and lots of other clusters have been linked to people who were there, who then met others over Christmas. There must have been other causes though because I'm not exaggerating when I say almost every second household either has a positive case or someone self isolating.

Would people think the numbers are coming down enough in Tipp to send kids back to school.
We have the option of continuing home school or attending in the SEN reduced numbers.
Nothing decided yet but thought the numbers trend is promising if we held off for another week on school returns for SEN returns?

From what I can see in my specific local area the numbers have never been higher, the hospital has no available adult critical care beds as of yesterday, I think it’s anything but safe !!
