So far this is my worst month for generation since I had the panels installed in March 2023.

45 units so far - 6.6 kWp system with an E/W split.

Nice to see it tipping along at 4.8kw today, until it hits clouds shortly.

41kwh so far this month. Will be lucky to break 50 if it stays like this.

4kwp South East facing PV System. 5.3kwh Weco battery. South Dublin City.

If only it rolled in a bit more! My system is new to me and I know it's November but I'm a bit underwhelmed by the production so far. Just changed electricity providers so at least I can take advantage of the EV rates now to charge my batteries.

The last few days have been a big improvement. Today was the first day I've passed the 10kWh mark since the 26th of October. Looks like it'll be back to regular scheduling for the next while though 😑

Just 84kWhs so far this month, way below pvigs estimates.

    4.4kWp sse

What size is your array? I installed a 7.8kWp array with a 5kW inverter back in February. No battery. South facing.

It generated 350 euro worth of credit (net) over the summer which is now being chipped away. However the system is still generating power and so far this month has reduced my bill by 25%.

Come March the system will fire back into action with a vengeance.

Unfortunately November-Feb is very poor. March-October makes up for it though, especially with the generous export rates.

8.9kWp, South facing with 16kW of battery. I'm looking forward to getting the next few months out of the way to see what I can achieve. In the meantime I'm taking advantage of the night time EV rates to make the most of my battery storage. I can run the house about 80% of the time using just the batteries so that in itself should be a great help.

Fog never lifted here all day so 3.2kWh was all we seen, half an hour out the road and the sun was splitting the stones…we will be in for a terrible November.

    c'est la vie

Worst day yet with just 0.63kwh

I assume it’ll be all downhill now coming into December.

Yesterday (2nd Dec) was a pretty perfect day - 7.2kw Solar panels are all South Facing there was only generation between 9:20 and 3:15, so less than 6 hours but managed 19.2kwh

It was a fab day in Cork. I've only had the panels since May so had no idea what to expect. I generated 13.8kw off a 5.5 South facing set up. More than happy , here's to more cold dry bright days

Bizarrely enough in winter the net cost for running the house is just as good on days when it is cloudy and mild. With bright sunny days like today generation is excellent, unfortunately it tends to be bitterly cold resulting in the heat pump working hard. That's not the case on cloudy and mild days when the inverse is true.

On a mild day consumption drops to somewhere between 12 to 15kWh with generation in single digits. The net result on the pocket is similar.

Solar - at this moment in time - has reduced the bill today from €6.80 to €2.00... with 2 hours of import left, the saving is likely to be €4.30. Happy days!

    Update:

Total consumption without solar = €7.44

Reduced Import due to solar = €5.38

Export due to solar = -€2.56

Net cost to me incl. Standing Charge = €2.82

    Today's savings = €4.62
